Who makes it, how often, and what they look at now. It seems skippable; skip it and everything after becomes an interface demo.
Open orders from ERP, line capacity from MES, sales history, the promotion calendar. What matters is the data that does not arrive: a missing field is not quietly counted as zero, it narrows the confidence interval.
The forecast produces a range, constraints reduce it to a number you can act on, and the result is recorded with its reasoning. The record is part of the product.
A number on its own cannot be audited. If the inputs that produced it are not written down, a system that was right and a system that was lucky look identical from outside.
The change is not blocked, it is recorded. Over time those records become the most valuable data you have about where the model is systematically wrong.
The system does not intervene in every decision; it passes over the routine ones and surfaces only what crosses a threshold. A system that alerts constantly is a system that gets switched off.
No prepared demo data. If some of the numbers look inconsistent, that is why: real operational data is not clean, and a demonstration that hides this makes you buy on the wrong information.
No setup screens either. How integration is built is a separate subject, and the honest answer is "it depends on your systems" — not something eight minutes can settle. Discussing it in the first call against your own list of systems tells you far more than a prepared installation video.
